Is Satan just God’s alter-ego, that you can blame the bad stuff on while his “good” side does the rest?
Chaplydia Writes about Living Truth
Satan is not God’s alter ego. Satan is a created being, not God. God created Lucifer –now Satan– to be a cherubim, a guardian angel. Lucifer got so full of himself that he thought he could overthrow God….NOT!
Since angels don’t have redemption like humans, Lucifer got renamed Satan and thrown out of heaven. He took 1/3 of the angels with him and they are now demons.
Satan is now, prince of this world; however, he cannot do whatever he wants (Job 1). He can only do what God allows him to do. Satan can only be in one place at a time, and while powerful, he’s no match for God.
God will win, but has allowed Satan rule on the Earth, for the moment. Satan tries to get man to agree with the idea that God is no good, or God doesn’t exist. The reason for that is Satan KNOWS man could be redeemed through the person, and work of Jesus Christ. Satan HATES man, and he tries to distract him from the truth to keep him (man) from being redeemed.
That’s the story. Satan is evil, God is good. They are not the same person.
